Every Spirit week, before the homecoming game, the entire school gets involved in a pep rally. In the "coolest senior" contest during the pep rally, senior Sommer Singshinsuk scours fromthe cold ice block she had to hold. "As you can see from the enthusiastic expression on my face, I ws thrilled to be chosen as one of the coolest seniors because it was aonce in a lifetime opportunity and it felt great to see my friends cheering for me. I swear I was going to get frostbite because that ice was so cold!" said Singshinsuk.

At a home varsity soccer scrimage against Eleanor Roosevelt on September 1, Andrew Garner, 12, pushes himself to get ot the ball first before it goes out of play. Whether you are well conditioned or not can play a large part in a soccer player's performance on the field. "I can't say i'm a fan of conditioning, no one really is, bu it makes me a better player. For soccer we do alot of stairs, and sprints on the track," Andrew Garner, 12.
Students covered in pink, orange, green, and yellow neon scour the halls on Neon day during spirit week. Seniors Jessica Murray, Colin Madison, Jessica Oursler, Julia Hause, Samantha Web, Angela Cirillo showed their class spirit, while sitting outside, soaking up the good weather during one hour lunch. "It's my senior year, I wanted to go all out, and those giant, pink sunglasses were perfect. I managed to keep them on all day, even though the hurt my head afer awhile, but it was worth it." said Cirillo.
